The summer grind is coming to an end. The habits you built are about to be revealed. The season will show who’s ready and who fell behind.

Issue 010 — August 18, 2025
Two weeks left in August. Summer’s winding down, and once your calendar fills up with school, practices, and games, you won’t have time to “get ready.” You’ll only have the habits you built over the past few months.
This is the moment to check yourself. Did you make this summer count—or did you just coast?
📋 4 Honest Questions to Ask Yourself:
Are you healthy?
Nothing else matters if you aren’t rested, recharged, and ready to go. Training through fatigue or nagging injuries only puts you further behind. The athletes who prioritize recovery are the ones who stay on the field when it matters most.
Did you challenge yourself?
Growth doesn’t come from staying comfortable. Did you push yourself into uncomfortable territory—new drills, heavier weights, faster tempos? Or did you play it safe? Champions don’t take the easy route.
Were you consistent?
One or two good sessions a week won’t cut it. Consistency is where the real separation happens. Ask yourself: did the majority of your days this summer serve your goals?
Do you feel prepared?
Preparation creates confidence. If you’ve stacked enough consistent work, you don’t wonder if you’re ready—you start asking how far you can go this season.
Champions are made in the offseason. The season just shows everyone else what you built.

If you can say yes across the board, you’ve positioned yourself for a breakout year. If not, don’t panic—but don’t wait either. This is your chance to take control. Figure out what’s holding you back—time management, motivation, or not having the right program—and fix it now.
Because here’s the truth: you only get a handful of seasons like this in your life. Don’t waste them going through the motions.
